As a residential care home, there is extra peace of mind with a dedicated care team available 24/7.
There is always something to look forward to at our senior living community near Banbury! The smell of freshly made coffee and home baking are a regular feature of mornings at Featherton House, usually to accompany group flower arranging or one of our visiting entertainers. In the warmer months, our gardening club springs into action, growing produce to use in our kitchen. Walks around our beautiful village and a spot of lunch at the pub are also firm favourites.
Our residents' friends and family are encouraged to visit regularly and are more than welcome to indulge in a cup of tea and a slice of our famous home-baked cakes! Taking loved ones out for a meal or to a family gathering is fine too, just let us know in advance so we can make sure everything is ready and that they've been suitably pampered in our in-house hair salon.

When I first arrived at Featherton House, I was struck by the wonderful family-orientated atmosphere, and how it is beautifully run by highly professional staff. The residents have been incredibly welcoming and it is a lovely place to be.
We also have several generations of the same family working here, which really adds to the family feel of the home, something our residents tell us they love time after time.
Featherton House allows residents to continue to live a thriving village life. We are based at the heart of the beautiful village of Deddington, just off Market Place, with great connections to the church and other local organisations.
To achieve the best possible experience for residents, I believe that listening to their wishes and suggestions is key. We hold regular meetings to find out what new things they would like to try.
The staff go above and beyond for the residents and each day is different from the food to the activities they are well catered for.
This small care home is cosy and friendly, you feel like you are in a safe home. Nice furnishings, excellent food and in a good location.
Featherton House provides a caring safe environment for the residents. the staff are always friendly and helpful. It is a comfort to know that mum is safe and looked after well.
