"We were extremely disappointed by the Grading awarded by CQC at their last inspection. We do not believe that the Grade accurately represents the quality of service that is provided by the team in this home and we have raised the matter with the CEO and Directors of CQC. The latest CQC inspection report contains a substantial amount of positive observation of our service, and it is our opinion that disproportionate weight has been given to a negligible amount of anecdotal feedback, which is not supported by a range of factual evidence. In recent months, we have received very positive feedback from clients that use our service, their relatives, and external health professionals as evidenced on Carehome.co.uk. This has been very encouraging and this reassures us that our robust quality management systems are delivering continued improvements in our service We continue to welcome and respect the findings of CQC inspections and look forward to their next inspection at the earliest opportunity, to allow us to demonstrate the great service that is provided by the Manager and her team. In the meantime, however, we would urge those wanting to understand how the home is operated and the outcomes that are achieved to read the report in full. We are always happy to share our development plans with you or discuss in detail the finding of this inspection. "
Our team are committed to delivering personalised care and support to consistently superb standards. That means we tailor our approach to meet your personal preferences and varying needs. We are always looking for the the best care staff to join our team!
A sensitive conversion and extension of Eastwick Barn – dating from 1296 – Patcham House is steeped in history. The barn has been painstakingly restored and converted to ensure that you can continue to enjoy the original features and unique ambience.
We believe you will particularly appreciate our dynamic activities team, who plan workshop and social activities seven days a week. We also offer a range of services including hairdressing and chiropody.
Mum has been here for 2 months now and settled in really well, with the help of all the staff. She has been looked after so well and loved everyone. Everyone is so welcoming to me and the rest of the family and it really has a "home from home" feel to the place. Thanks, everyone. Much appreciated.
Dad had a fantastic stay at Patcham Nursing Home. The staff were wonderful, kind and considerate with him and us, his family. The garden was a joy to behold. Dad was up most days in the living room and seemed to enjoy to company and entertainment. I felt the staff had a real connection to dad and they were always telling me stories of what he'd been up to and said.
I visited my friend several times in the nursing home and was delighted to find him happy and contented. He had a room overlooking the beautiful gardens and was receiving excellent care and attention. I would recommend the home to any of my friends.
It was looking like a holiday cottage. I believe that is important to look pretty (especially garden). Also, that was nice to visit him at any time suit our lives. While we visit him, our children were playing in the garden. Nobody stopped them (which is so nice). In addition, it was great to see him from his window when he is not able to accept us.
