At Wren Retirement Living we are using data-driven technology to protect residents and team members and to make our care homes COVID-19 safe.
We understand that it is a worrying time and that you may have concerns around the safety of care homes. Our COVID-19 Safe Programme is backed by our unique digital IMPaCT Audit tool and Care Portal reporting system. This ensures the highest standards of infection control and cleanliness in all of our homes.
Wren Retirement Living care homes have been using the innovative IMPaCT Audit and Care Portal systems developed by Worcestershire based Healthcare Management Solutions since 2016. Working together, these systems deliver a clear and objective view of every aspect of each care home.
Using up-to-date information gathered within the care home, we can monitor the effectiveness of infection control procedures and regulatory compliance.
During the coronavirus pandemic, this system has helped to inform our decision making. We can form robust infection control policies and procedures, and monitor our drive to keep our care homes free of the coronavirus. Also, it has allowed us to ensure a plentiful supply of PPE to all of our homes throughout the pandemic.
With routine testing of residents and staff now in place, the Care Portal system has the added capability to log all test results. This helps us to identify risks and act on them quickly. Thanks to this feature, we have been able to open many of our homes for Safe Outside Visits and are working towards facilitating Safe Indoor Visits through the winter months.
With routine testing of residents and staff now in place, the Care Portal system has the added capability to log all test results, helping us to identify risks and act on them quickly. Thanks to this, we are safely accepting new admissions and offering pre-booked safe outdoor visits at many of our homes. Please contact your local Wren Retirement Living Care Home for their most up-to-date visiting information.
As you know, the situation can change rapidly. Should the infection rate rise in the local area, or if an outbreak is detected in the home, Safe Outside Visits must be cancelled. With daily monitoring of both local and national infection rates, public health data, and our own digital systems the COVID-19 Safe Programme remains responsive to the ever-changing situation.
Our data-backed COVID-19 Safe Programme is designed to give you peace of mind. Ensuring that our residents remain wonderfully cared for and supported by our highly professional teams in a safe environment.
