Paula Windmill, manager of Linden House Care Home in Epson has made the Great British Care Awards shortlist.

Epsom Care Home Secures Place on Awards Shortlist

Epsom Care Home, Linden House, has achieved a place on the shortlist for the Great British Care Awards London.

Linden House’s manager, Paula Windmill, has been shortlisted for the ‘Care Home Registered Manager Award’ in the regional finals of the Great British Care Awards for the London area.

The Great British Care Awards celebrates excellence and expertise in the care sector, honouring those who have gone above and beyond in their duties. Following a very difficult year for the care sector and its frontline keyworkers, the Great British Care Awards 2020 seems even more poignant.

Although last year’s Great British Care Awards final is yet to take place as a virtual event on 30th October, the hope is that the gala evening for the GBCA London will take place during April 2021. The winners of each regional final will go onto the shortlist for the national final at a later date.

A True Inspiration to Her Team

Wren Retirement Living’s regional manager, Ilze Careless, said; “I am delighted that Paula has been recognised as a finalist for the Care Home Manager of the year Award. Paula is passionate, committed and a true inspiration to her team and colleagues. During these very difficult times, she has led her team with confidence and compassion to ensure the safety of all.  I am extremely proud of Paula and wish her the best of luck on the night.”

A huge congratulations goes to Paula for making the shortlist for this coveted award. Thanks also to her dedicated team at the home. They have supported her brilliantly through a very difficult period in time. We wish you the very best of luck for the big night in April!
